At Monarch Gift Shop, we believe beauty inspires authentic, joyful living. We are passionate about creating a space where you are surrounded by beauty, and that inspires you to create a beautiful mind, body, spirit, and home. 

 Back in 2001, Jan and Steve Osterkamp had a dream of opening an inspirational gift shop with small-town values of community and service, along with products that are unique, uplifting and beautiful.

 Over 25 years later, Monarch continues to be a family run business, owned and managed by their daughter Amy Peterson. You will also find Jan and Steve’s other daughter, Gina Brodtmann, merchandising inventory and creating beautiful displays. Amy's husband, Duane, can be found changing light bulbs or demonstrating the latest kitchen gadgets at Monarch’s sister store, The Measuring Cup, located just down the street. 

 Jan, a Certified Gemologist, continues to handpick the one-of-a-kind jewelry you find at Monarch, and Amy enjoys finding the vibrant and colorful home decor, clothing, and bath & body products that make Monarch the enchanting atmosphere you find when you walk through the
door.
